Church Relations

Office of Church Relations

Welcome to the Office of Church Relations, where the needs of churches and church leaders meet the resources of Abilene Christian University.

Partnering with Churches Worldwide

We exist to serve our ministry partners faithfully, creatively and effectively. Our mission is to promote constructive and collaborative relationships between ACU and its supporting congregations.

Historically, ACU has valued its partnership with churches and has sought to honor that essential relationship by serving churches and church leaders in a variety of ways.

The services we offer to churches include multiple web resources, access to research databases, church leader assessment and team building instruments, church consultation and coaching services, ElderLink events, adult Bible study resources, annual Ministers Salary Survey participation and results, recommended interim preaching ministers, recommended guest speakers for church events, information about Ministers Support Network (MSN), and minister transition resources and coaching.

All these services are provided by faculty and staff within the College of Biblical Studies. Our common goal is to use our gifts and strengths as resources for those who lead and serve in churches. Some resources can be accessed online; others can be explored by email. More information about all resources and services can be obtained by contacting the Office of Church Relations.
