the member of the wedding

Frankie Addams, a precocious 12 year old tomboy, shares her dreams with her worldly wise maid Berenice. Playwright and novelist Carson McCullers is recognized as one of the great writers of the American South alongside Tennessee Williams and John Steinbeck. Apart from this play, she is best known for The Heart is a Lonely Hunter and The Ballad of the Sad Cafe. "Tender and devastating...She has examined the heart of man with an understanding that no other writer can hope to surpass," Tennessee Williams.
