The Three Sisters
By Anton Chekhov
Directed by Adam Hester
Scenic Design by Gary Varner
Costume Design by Sandy Freeman
Chekhov's amazing characters live life between two poles of experience: the Past and the Future. Their home is a kind of way-station, a limbo, a prison filled with windows aglow with possibility on one side and the aura of a dream-like past on the other. Their only reality is the Past, their only possibility is the Future. Their Present is an enigma. Yet we identify with these officers, these genteel sisters, this schoolmaster, this young wife because we, like them, continue to miss the moment. Don't miss this beautiful and haunting production.
