What do you love about the ACU Theatre Department?
My favorite part of ACU Theatre is the mentality of encouragement and celebration that surrounds current students and alumni. ACU Theatre focuses on maintaining positivity throughout personal and communal goals and challenges this department prepares a solid foundation on which one can call home. Having faculty, staff, and peers that are encouraging and supportive provides a ground on which to feel confident to grow.

What advice do you have for a prospective theatre major?
Being a theatre major means keeping an open mind. I have learned that all the plans I can make don't necessarily mean anything. Loving theatre means loving every aspect of theatre: the lighting, sound, set, script, direction... All of these combine to make one beautiful art piece. Involvement in theatre means being okay with dedicating ones self to any part of theatre, for theatre, even if it's not the expected aspect of attention. ACU Theatre is awesome because it allows students to experience all those aspects! Have goals, but be open and willing to try everything, both in theatre and in your college experience all together.
