Highland Church of Christ, along with other local churches, walk around the neighborhood oftheir building knocking on doors and hanging out with the people they meet. The purpose is not to recruit for their church but to love their neighbors. This focus on love and the consistency of coming to their door every Sunday night builds relationships unlike any other I have experienced. Between the neighbors and the walkers, a bond has been built that has blossomed into cookouts, prayer requests, and trust.
What do you like most about the department?
ACU Theatre allows for endless opportunity because of its knowledgeable, selfless faculty. These people are not only talented, well experienced, and diligent in staying on top of the current trends of our ever-changing craft, but are personally invested in each individual student. Evaluation meetings, an open door policy, and endless out of class time is generously offered from every faculty member. The capstone that locks ACU Theatre at the top of my list and close to my heart is the beautiful, unmistakable example of Christ that shines through the people here.
