Meet Eaton Saylor

Describe a memorable event or image in an ACU play in which you have performed, directed, designed or crewed or one you've seen here.
Probably the most memorable moment for me since I have attended ACU is when we did the show Les Miserables. This show was a major undertaking for the entire department, but for me the most memorable moment was after the first performance, when I was able to look over all of the work I put in and realize that it was all worth it.
How has faith impacted your journey as an artist?
Faith has had a major impact on my journey, especially in my growth as an artist. Before I came to ACU, I worked in the industry as a technician and lighting designer, and my work was always lacking and seemed to even be in a decline. Since I have come here I have been able to grow in my faith, and I feel that growth has helped me to improve as an artist.
What advice do you have for a prospective theatre major?
My advice for anyone looking to join our family is to not be afraid to try your hardest and to put your heart into your work as a theatre artist.
