Through our degree programs service learning opportunities and partnerships with community-based research and internship programs, we help our students prepare for personal and professional contributions to families and communities in a global society, building and maintaining relationships made diverse by cultural, personal and social characteristics.
Our students have opportunities for Christian service and leadership and to practice what they learn in the classroom, in a variety of settings. These include social service agencies, city government projects, the Dallas Urban Studies Program, and our summer internship program on the Crow Reservation in Montana.
