The Department of Political Science gives students an understanding of domestic and international politics that prepares them for informed, active participation in the political arena and in public service.

Department of Political Science

The ACU Department of Political Science equips students to pursue careers in government service, media and journalism, high school teaching, or college teaching. A minor in Peace and Social Justice specifically empowers students to make peace and preserve justice in homes, churches, workplaces, communities, and the world.

Brittany Partridge, senior political science major from Annandale, Minn., is ACU's first ever student to be awarded not one but two of the most prestigious academic honors in the nation, the Truman Scholarship and the Marshall Scholarship.
