The physics department’s most valuable asset is its amazing secretary, Lois Marie Reed.  For physics students collapsing under the stress of homework, she always has a cheerful smile and an encouraging word.  She even goes above and beyond the call of duty by bringing a freshly baked batch of homemade cookies each Monday morning.  Her responsibilities include  keeping professors on track, making sure students register for the classes they need, and handling all of the department’s paperwork.  Her contact information is given below, and she would be happy to send you additional information about our department, answer any questions you have, or put you in touch with one of our physics professors.
