Orchestra Auditions
Auditions for 2012-2013 will be held the first week of class, with the first rehearsal that Friday (Aug 31) at 2:30 p.m.Sign up sheets are in the hallway outside Dr. Ward's door (WPAC 129).
LOW STRESS AUDITION--please bring something prepared to play, a solo or etude of your choice, region or all-state audition etude, etc.
STRINGS--Audition is for seating in the group only, not for membership.
WINDS/PERC--Needs are determined by the literature we are performing, but generally speaking the maximum in the group will be woodwinds in pairs, 2-4 horns, 2-3 trumpets, 2-3 trombones, 1 tuba, and percussion as needed.
