The ACU Jazz Ensemble is comprised of both music and non-music majors. Auditions are held on campus during the first week of classes. This ensemble performs many different styles of music from the Swing era to the present.The Jazz Ensemble participates in Sing Song every year as well as three to four concerts during the year. In past years this group has performed at the Wichita Jazz Festival and with professionals such as Allen Vizzutti, Ernie Watts, Carl Fontana, Bill Watrous, Jon Faddis, and Vince DiMartino. The Jazz Ensemble rehearses Tuesdays and Thursdays 5 - 6:30 p.m.
