B.S. in Mathematics for High School Teaching

The Bachelor of Science in Mathematics for high school teacher certification prepares students to teach high school (grades 7-12) mathematics. The degree combines extensive mathematics study through the Math Department with hands-on teacher training through the Department of Teacher Education, equipping future teachers who can cultivate in their students a love and understanding of math. Students of high school math education are prepared to pass the TeXeS state teacher certification exams for grade 7-12 mathematics.
