KUF-TV 7
ACU has a Class A Community Television Station which can be seen off air, on Suddenlink Cable. Students can use the new Sony CA 537 studio cameras, DVCAM linear and Adobe Premiere non-linear editing stations. The control room is equipped with the new Newtek Video Toaster 2 Digital Video Workstation.

KACU-FM
The campus radio station is affiliated with National Public Radio and the Associated Press and serves listeners within a 60-mile radius. Students are employed as announcers and producers. The station is computer automated and boasts a CD music library and computerized broadcast newsroom.

Optimist (newspaper)
The university's student newspaper is published each Wednesday and Friday during the fall and spring semesters. The student staff is responsible for campus news, sports, photography, editorials, columns, editorial cartoons and features. Students also edit the copy, design the news pages, and sell and create advertisements. The lab broadsheet newspaper is paginated and produced camera-ready and delivered electronically to the Abilene Reporter-News where it is printed.

Location: JMC/network newsroom, Don Morris Center
