Prickly Pear (yearbook)
Named for the pear-like fruit-bearing cactus common to the West Texas landscape, the Prickly Pear yearbook features more than 200 pages of ACU life, and an opportunity for writers, editors and photographers to gain experience producing a showcase publication. Beginning in August, staffers sell books to students and arrange for portrait sessions for students; and ending in mid-summer, when the last blueline is edited and approved. The yearbook lab is equipped with Power Macintoshes and software to produce camera-ready spreads for Taylor Publishing Co. of Dallas, Texas.

Location: Room 309, Don Morris Center
