Bachelor of Science (BS) in Convergence Journalism/Multimedia with Teaching Certification

The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Convergence Journalism/Multimedia with Teaching Certification prepares students to teach various courses in journalism, photography, video production and other multimedia at the high school (grades 8-12) level. This program combines multimedia and mass communication courses from the JMC department with extensive teacher preparation from ACU's Department of Teacher Education, equipping students to be excellent Christ-centered teachers who inspire youth to excel in journalism and multimedia.

This degree prepares students to take the TeXeS state exams for 8-12 Journalism teacher certification and for 8-12 Technology Applications teacher certification.
