Tracy Shilcutt joined the Department of History in 2001 having previously worked as the Curator of exhibitions and Collections at the Grace Museum. Shilcutt's fields of specialties include American social history and military history.
Professor Shilcutt's publications include Historic Abilene: An Illustrated History (2000) and numerous articles for military academic reference volumes. Shilcutt conducts projects for ACU's study-abroad program and teaches colloquia for the Honor's Department. Shilcutt is currently completing a manuscript, First Link in the Life Chain: Infantry Combat Medics in Europe, 1944-1945.
