Prerequisites

Many occupational therapy programs require a recommendation letter from an occupational therapist with whom you have worked. In addition to fulfilling the required amount of hours for the program, this shadowing experience is beneficial in helping you learn more about this career which interests you. Students are required to contact each school to learn the most recent information regarding the required GPA, letters of recommendation, course prerequisites, and other admissions requirements. The list below provides a general list of prerequisite courses which must be completed for acceptance into the individual school of your choice.
