ACU graduates are accepted into health profession schools at a rate more than double the national average, thanks in part to the university's innovative Body & Soul program.
Body & Soul Program
The Body & Soul Program at Abilene Christian University prepares students for entry into health-related professional schools through co-curricular programs like shadowing, professional school visits, health organizations, Christian mentorship, test preparation, and mock interviews.
Body & Soul Students Serving Others
For the last three years, Body & Soul students have helped deliver turkey dinners to around 50 families in the North Abilene area. ACU's own SALT (Service Action Leadership Team), a student-lead service group, organizes this project.
ACU pre-medical and pre-dental students shadow doctors for real-life experience.
