Technology & Learning
Along with a team from across the university (including English's own Dr. Kyle Dickson), Bill has been active in exploring the ways that converged mobile technology--and especially Apple's iPhone--can transform teaching and learning in the 21st-century classroom. Bill has presented to numerous organizations on technology and learning, including most recently the Region 14 Technology Frontiers III in November 2007.

Work of literature you would recommend: The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy and Silence by Shusaku Endo. They're both hard and troubling books, but what they have to say about the human condition is profoundly important.
What you want to give your students: a trained critical eye and a sense of wonder about--and joy in--the diversity of creation and the diversity of human thought and culture.
Why you are at ACU: I had some wonderful teachers who sacrificed much to set me and others on the path of learning. Given their amazing example, I felt I ought to give something back.
