Q&A with Dr. Carley Dodd

Originally from: San Antonio, Texas

Why you do what you do and why at ACU: ACU provides an opportunity to enrich and equip Christians to make a difference in the church and in their careers by preparation in communication, relationship management, and information tools.

What you expect from students:  Attention in class, reading, and pushing through assignments with theory and application in mind.

What you want to give your students: A sense of “can do,” rather than pessimism or defeat.

Personal: Married, 4 children, and 6 grandchildren

Interests outside of the classroom: Church leadership, tennis, outdoor activity

Research Interests: My research interests are intercultural communication, intercultural transitions and adaptation, and intercultural assessments.
