ACU's ElderLink Forum is pleased to return to Houston and the warm hospitality of Bammel Church of Christ in the spring of 2006. Church leaders in southern Louisiana, Texa and New Mexico will have an opportunity to hear highly-qualified speakers share their understandings and experiences in dealing with the challenges elders face. Practical resources and strategies for responding to such challenges will be offered along with special topics of interest. Attendees will receive information rooted in scripture and Biblical principles from qualified speakers who will address the issues and challenges elders deal with daily as they seek to lead their churches according to God's will. Spouses are invited to attend any or all of the sessions. Sessions designed to strengthen and encourage church leaders and their spouses in meeting the demands of their roles will be presented by a church leader and his wife.
What Should I Expect?
Beginning with a continental breakfast and a time of worship and prayer, the forum will feature plenary sessions and a choice of breakout sessions. Experienced church leaders will share their understandings of the challenges elders face and offer practical resources and strategies for responding to them.
