The BS Degree in Chemistry is approved by the American Chemical Society.

In addition to the University Core, all candidates for the Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry should take courses of the BS Degree Core regardless fields studying in. These courses are:

To obtain a total of 128 credit hours, students majoring in chemistry must take 18 hours of general electives, arranged to ensure 33 semester hours of advanced work. Electives may include deficiency requirements in foreign language.
