"ACU is a family tradition, in a way, but I came here because I knew that I would be challenged both academically and spiritually.

"I have always planned to become a doctor and biology seemed the be the most helpful major in preparing me for that next step; but, beyond that, I am a biology major because this is the topic that fascinates me. I think it is an insight to the mind of our Creator and the way He operates.

"I considered a variety of majors that I thought would interest me or speak to my strengths and I even recently added a business minor, but there is no other field that could have captured my attention the way that biology has. I can say with all certainty that there is no classroom that could possibly inspire me the way that the halls of the Foster Science Building have. The staff here is truly concerned with each student as an individual and is accessible to aid you in your journey for truth. I cannot say that this major has been easy--and for that I am thankful…I have grown from the challenge and have watched my faith be reinforced by seeing God’s glory in His handiwork."
