Dr. Tom Lee’s Ecuadorian Research Expedition
This summer, from July 16th to August 12th, two ACU field biology students--Steven Roussos and Chace Craig--will accompany Dr. Tom Lee on a South American research expedition to survey the mammals of Volcán Sumaco. Volcán Sumaco is a 12,500 ft. volcano located in a remote northern area of Ecuador. It has not been surveyed in eighty years. This is Dr. Lee’s fourth research expedition taking ACU students to Ecuador.
This year’s expedition is funded by ACU’s Dean of Arts and Sciences, the ACU Math and Science grant, and CraRuth Energy Corporation.
