Kathryn Wasemiller

Kitty Wasemiller is a professor and director of ACU's Interior Design program. The INTD Program achieved national accreditation from CIDA under her leadership. Ms. Wasemiller performs interior design consulting for commercial and residential clients as the principal designer and owner of Kitty Wasemiller Designs, where she has completed residential, retail, corporate, senior living, and institutional projects. She formerly served as interior designer with the Tittle Luther Partnership in Abilene.
Wasemiller has served as board member and financial officer of the Texas chapter of ASID, and will serve as president-elect of the Texas Chapter beginning in October 2011. Wasemiller was honored by the Texas Chapter of ASID as Medalist Educator in 2011.
Ms. Wasemiller earned a B.F.A. from Abilene Christian University and M.F.A. in Interior Design from Texas Tech University. She holds an NCIDQ certificate and is a registered interior designer in Texas. She holds membership in the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and the Interior Design Educators Council (IDEC).
