The purpose of the admission process is to identify applicants who are considered non-traditional and likely to succeed in the BAS Program.
To meet the definition of non-traditional and to assess a student's relative potential for academic success, the following are required:
Age 23 or older
Minimum of two years work experience
Interview with a BAS advisor
Bachelor of Applied Studies Application: Online Version or Printable Version (PDF format)
$25 application fee (non-refundable)
Satisfactory official transcripts of all previous college work (high school transcript required if fewer that 30 earned college hours)
A statement of purpose (two pages)
Two recommendations (PDF format) from someone other than family (one character, one academic or job related)
Without an associate degree or with fewer than 64 transferrable college semester hours, appropriate entrance exam (SAT, ACT, COMPASS, WAIS)
