Experience: |
Mrs. Thornton was Assistant Director of University Studies and the Director of the Bachelor of Applied Studies Program from 1998 through May, 2004. She also served as the Director of the Master of Science degree in Organizational and Human Resource Development for over ten years. Prior to coming to ACU, she taught in Texas public schools and was self-employed in her family's business. She has even been known to drive public school buses on occasion. |

Mrs. Thornton feels that working with non-traditional students is her ministry and it is her hope that students in the BAS program experience life-changing growth and maturity that sparks success in all realms of life - academically, spiritually, professionally, and personally. And because of the success they experience here, she hopes they are able to create a better world for all those whose lives they touch. But more importantly, she hopes that they are able to pass the desire, vision, and hope for a better world on to others. |
