The Bachelor of Applied Studies Program has officially become more than a degree completion program. For the first time, adult learners are able to earn a complete degree, including ACU's General Education requirements, in the evening! All courses required for the BAS degree in Communication, Liberal Arts and Sociology are offered during evening time slots on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, over a 2-3 year period. We are excited about this development and what it offers adult learners in the Abilene area.
Additionally, we are in the process of revamping our web site so that we can provide more information regarding such issues as scheduling and financial aid. We are also working on a plan to give our adult learners "after hours" access to student services offices like financial aid, computer support, and even the Registrar's office. The BAS office is open until 7p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our goal, of course, is to make an education at Abilene Christian University a bit more "user friendly" to adult learners.
