Meeting Spaces

The Adams Center Classroom (Rm. 241) is the largest space we have to offer for events, seating up to 30 people. Featuring two large screens for presentation purposes, the Classroom also has multiple glass boards for shared work, modular seating, and easily arrangeable tables.

Conference Room
The Adams Center Conference Room (Rm. 244)  allows faculty and staff members to gather around an oblong, conference-style table that comfortably accommodates 14-16 people. The Conference Room contains a projector for visual presentations and provides an appropriate setting for formal meetings.

Bamboo Room
The Adams Center Bamboo Room is decorated in a bright, modern style. With cozy couches and armchairs, and a long conference table, the Bamboo Room is equipped with technology that makes it just right for small, collaborative meetings of 6-10 people.

The Woods
The Woods (Rm. 248) is a unique space for a meeting of 16-20 people. Glassboards for collaborative writing and two large screens for visual presentations adorn the walls. The larger of the two rooms in the Learning Research Lab, The Woods provides a place for faculty and researchers to observe the teaching and learning process and to improve upon their instructional strategies.

The Workspace
With an urban, yet homey feel, the Workspace is well suited for smaller meetings. The Workspace includes a small, round table perfect for discussions and 2 comfortable recliners, seating up to 6 people.

The Commons
The Faculty Commons is furnished for elegant comfort. Among the cushiony chairs and sofas, faculty share ideas, concerns, and beliefs. Equipped with a Keurig for refreshments, the Commons is perfect for a moment or relaxation or an energizing conversation.
