This fall, the ACU Blogs system will make class blogs available to faculty as a mobile-friendly alternative to Blackboard. The session will combine best practices from our faculty pilot with practical steps for setting up your first WordPress blog.
Option 2: iPhone/iPod Touch Basics: Kristy Strickland, Adams Center Classroom
Faculty will learn everyday functions of the device and how to configure it for email, calendar, and contacts.
Option 3: Creating Creative Assignments: Dwayne Harapnuik, Adams Center Computer Lab
This session will explore creative and fun alternative techniques to engage students using active and dynamic real-world projects.

With the next generation of mobile devices adding audio and video recording, this session will introduce easy ways to record a lecture, share course updates, or support student projects and will introduce the services available in the Digital Media Center opening this fall.
Option 2: Service-Learning: Cole Bennett, Adams Center Classroom
This session will introduce service-learning and suggest ways for incorporating service-learning in the classroom.
