Mission: To support faculty in their teaching role, their professional growth, and renewal efforts.
Faculty enrichment is a grass roots operation led by the Adams Center and the Faculty Development Committee. All efforts of the Office of Instructional and Faculty Enrichment (OIFE) are to provide opportunities and resources for professional growth in a voluntary, supportive environment. The goal is to provide services and programs that address national trends in higher education, as well as areas specific to the mission and goals of Abilene Christian University.
In the Adams Center, we work to achieve lasting change. Often we employ creative approaches, rather than relying on traditional methods of teaching and learning. We create learning experiences for faculty members, attempting to model effective innovations through technology and research-based teaching/learning strategies.
