The 43,500-square-foot, $3.5 million facility includes a Great Room that seats up to 1,500 people for luncheons, dinners and other special events during Homecoming, Lectureship and Commencement. The new center also is used for regional seminars and testing sessions and as a lecture hall for major speakers.
It includes conference and meeting rooms, offices for the director of athletics and members of the coaching staff, offices and work areas for ACU's athletic training staff, locker rooms for ACU teams, catering kitchen and storage areas. The Great Room divides into three indoor tennis courts.
The building opened in the summer of 1998.
