Constructed in 1996, this stadium is home to the ACU Wildcat fastpitch softball team. The field is one of the Southwest's best intercollegiate softball fields and is capable of playing host to NCAA regional and national tournaments. It features and outstanding playing surface and seating capacity of about 600, to be expanded to 2,000. 

It is named for A.E. (Poly), and Zieta Wells. Wells, ACU class of 1931, was superintendent of Abilene schools from 1951-74.
