Slade Sullivan, J.D., is general counsel for the university and The ACU Foundation.  Sullivan served as interim general counsel after working as an attorney for The ACU Foundation for three years.

Sullivan received his bachelor's degree in human communication in 1995 and his master's degree in the same field in 1997.  He graduated from Harvard Law School in 2000.  He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the National Committee on Planned Giving and the National Association of College and University Attorneys.

Prior to coming to ACU, Sullivan practiced law at Thompson & Knight, LLP, in Dallas in the taxation, estate planning and exempt organizations practice groups.

Sullivan and his wife, Dava Lynn, have four children and are members of Highland Church of Christ.
