Charles Siburt

In addition to his role as vice president for church relations, Dr. Siburt holds several positions in the College of Biblical Studies including professor of ministry, Frazer Professor of Church Enrichment, and associate dean for ministry programs and services. Siburt also is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

During recent years, Siburt has served as a consultant for more than 100 churches in Texas, 20 other states, and Canada. His consulting services to churches focus on the areas of church leadership, Christian dispute resolution, crisis ministry, ministry team building, and ministerial and congregational transitions.  He directs programs such as ElderLink and the Minister Support Network.

Siburt holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Divinity degrees from ACU and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Before coming to ACU in 1988, Dr. Siburt ministered full-time with the Meadow-Lark Church of Christ (Fort Collins, Colo.), the University Avenue Church of Christ (Austin), and the Glenwood Church of Christ (Tyler).
