America's Top Colleges - Forbes Magazine

ACU is one of "America's Top Colleges" as determined by Forbes Magazine in a rankings list published in July 2015. Forbes joined with the Center for College Affordability and Productivity to choose 650 schools based on "the quality of the education they provide, the experience of the students and how much they achieve." ACU was ranked No. 526 overall, placing the university in the top 10 percent of the 6,600 accredited postsecondary institutions eligible for consideration. ACU and Pepperdine were the only two universities on the list affiliated with Churches of Christ.

2016 U.S. News & World Report - America's Best Colleges

Abilene Christian University is again ranked among the nation's Top 20 regional universities (West) as determined by U.S. News & World Report in its "America's Best Colleges" guide. ACU is 17th overall among top-tier regional universities.

The university also appears on the newest - and perhaps most distinctive portion - of the U.S. News rankings. After being first or second on the publication’s list of “Up-and-Coming-Universities” six of the previous seven years, ACU is now No. 2 among regional universities in the West on the new “Most Innovative Schools” list for 2016.

ACU once again appears on U.S. News best-value list of “Great Schools, Great Prices,” based on the university's academic quality weighed against net cost of attendance. It's the eighth consecutive year that ACU has appeared on this list.

For the second year in a row, the university is named among the “Best Colleges for Veterans."

National Survey Places ACU On Top in Multiple Categories

ACU ranked high across multiple categories in an annual report by the National Survey for Student Engagement (NSSE). The university placed well above average for its quality student-faculty interaction, enriched educational experiences and supportive campus environment. More than 1,500 universities participated in the survey and were compared to each other in five major categories: academic challenge, active learning, student-faculty interaction, enriched educational experiences and supportive campus environment. Survey results were based on information from 668 ACU students. Read more about the National Student Survey.
