Chapel at ACU

Gathering daily for a time of fellowship and worship is a time-honored tradition at ACU. Since 1906, we’ve come together as a community for Chapel.

Held at Moody Coliseum, Chapel features a brief time of devotion, a cappella singing, praise and fellowship. Students also hear from guest speakers and share announcements. These daily experiences are important to all of us -- they remind us that ACU is more than a university: it’s family.

Supplementing the larger daily Chapel gatherings are Small Group Chapels and Departmental Chapels:

Small Group Chapels encourage spiritual formation among organizations, departments and other groups as they take advantage of small group gatherings for worship, prayer, praise and Bible study. They meet on Tuesdays or Thursdays during most weeks of each semester.

Departmental Chapels provide a meaningful time for spiritual growth and celebrating community among students and the faculty and staff members from their respective majors.

We know we are stronger when we walk together, and Chapel reinforces our faith.
